Syslab research activities concern the formal treatment of Complex System, their modelizations and applications:

Formal studies of Complex Systems, in particular paradigmatic models for description and simulation of Complex Systems, such as Cellular Automata, their variants and other discrete models. Design and use of algorithms based on these theoretical models for the simulation of Complex Systems.
